Billing & Insurance Manager

Patti has worked in the Ophthalmology field of Medical Coding in the New Orleans area for 13 years, with the last 9 years managing the Billing and Insurance Department at Gulf South Eye Associates. She and her team ensure that your insurance is confirmed and accurately billed for services provided at Gulf South Eye Associates

Kristi Robichaux

Clinic Manager

Kristi has been with Gulf South Eye Associates since 1997. She is the clinic Manager, a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant and a Certified Medical Scribe Specialist. She is responsible for maintaining the daily operations of the clinic. Outside of the office, Kristi loves to travel and spending time with her grandchildren.

Lisa is our Optical Manager and has 36 years’ experience in the optical field. Upon starting her career, she became a certified optician. In her current role at Gulf South Eye Associates, she strives to provide the best customer service. Our optical staff is very knowledgeable on frame selection and lens choice to best fit you

Contact Lens Tech

Veronica has worked as an Optician in the New Orleans Metro area for over 25 years. She now works as a contact lens technician and is here to ensure that we meet each patient’s personalized contact lens needs to achieve the best possible vision and comfort.

Nancy Sperber

Surgery Coordinator

Nancy has been with Gulf South Eye Associates as a surgery coordinator for 3 years. Her goal is to provide each patient with an exceptional experience and care, leading up to, and after, their surgery.

Whitney has over a decade of experience in business management. Over the past 5 years, Whitney has excelled in the field of Patient Access. While managing the patient access team at Gulf South Eye Associates, Whitney’s goal is for each patient to experience great customer service, a fast and efficient check-in/ check-out process, and to leave full of knowledge of the insurance and billing obligations. Whitney takes pride in the work done here at Gulf South Eye Associates, where we value our patient’s experiences.

Tara Styron

Practice Administrator

Tara has been with Gulf South Eye Associates since 2024. She has been a Registered Nurse for 33 years, of which 24 years has been in leadership positions. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree. Tara is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing; The National Society of Leadership and Success- Sigma Alpha Pi Chapter; Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor Society, and the Golden Key International Honor Society. She is also a Certified Readmission Prevention Fellow.
