You will be seen the day after your procedure and will have several
post operative appointments throughout the year following your procedure.
You will need:-
to use an antibiotic and anti-inflammatory eye drops for the first week following your procedure.
- to use an artificial tear eye drops for the first several months following your procedure.
- to wear a bandage contact lens for the first week following your procedure. The lens will be removed by your surgeon on your 1-week post op visit.
It is normal to experience decreased vision, tearing, irritation and discomfort
for the first few days following your procedure. You will begin to notice
an improvement in the quality of your vision within the first few days.
You will begin to resume your normal lifestyle within 48 hours of your
procedure.
You will need to wear the bandage contact lens for 1 week; your surgeon
will remove the lens on your 1-week post op visit.
